Major League Baseball (MLB) hopeful Lee Jung-hoo has been ranked No. 8 on MLB.com’s list of 2024 free agent hitters.

MLB.com listed Lee’s name as the eighth on its list of the 10 free agents who will receive the most lucrative contracts in the upcoming free agency period on Sunday.굿모닝토토 주소

“Lee is the least known of the 10 hitters, but he’s likely to make his way to the United States this winter,” the publication said.

“At just 25 years old, Lee is a young beast with a variety of talents,” the publication said, “and he is also known as the ‘grandson of the wind’ because his coach, legendary Korean shortstop Lee Jong-beom, is nicknamed ‘Son of the Wind.'”

“We don’t know how Lee will utilize his talents, but his potential could be higher than all but Shohei Ohtani,” said MLB.com.

First place overall went to baseball prodigy Ohtani. Second was Cody Bellinger, the resurgent 2019 National League Most Valuable Player (MVP), and third was J.D. Martinez, who hit 33 home runs and drove in 103 RBIs this year.

Jorge Soler, Matt Chapman, Teoscar Hernandez, and Rhys Hoskins round out the list at No. 4-7. Justin Turner, best known to Korean fans as Ryu Hyun-jin’s assistant, was ranked ninth behind Lee.
