The Korea Football Association announced that Lee Kang-in will join the Asian Games squad after the team’s European Champions League match against Dortmund, which kicks off in the early hours of the 20th local time.

Initially, negotiations seemed to hit a snag as Paris Saint-Germain reportedly demanded that Lee be rescheduled for the Asian Cup next January instead of sending him to the Asian Games, but in the end, the club allowed Lee to join without any preconditions, according to the KFA.

As a result, Lee will join the national team in China as early as the 20th and as late as the 21st.

He will miss the first group game against Kuwait on the 19th and the second against Thailand on the 21st, but will be available for the third game against Bahrain on the 24th.

At the Jakarta Asian Games five years ago, Son Heung-min also played in the second game, four days after joining the team.메이저사이트

With coach Hwang Sun-hong finally able to breathe a sigh of relief after the timing of Lee’s arrival, the team will travel to the final match tomorrow (Nov. 16), three days before the first game.
